Color Blindness Simulator

See your designs through the eyes of color-blind users. Simulate deuteranopia, protanopia, tritanopia, and achromatopsia.

🚧 Full simulation engine coming soon. Use our Contrast Checker in the meantime.

FAQ

What types of color blindness exist?
Deuteranopia (green-blind, ~6% of males), Protanopia (red-blind, ~2%), Tritanopia (blue-blind, rare), and Achromatopsia (complete color blindness, extremely rare).
Why simulate color blindness?
~8% of males have color vision deficiency. If your design relies solely on color (e.g., red/green errors), these users may miss critical information.
Does high contrast solve everything?
High contrast helps but doesn't solve all issues — always pair color with icons, text labels, or patterns.
